Ethics Statement
Why we are?
Why do we toil, why do we exist, why do we serve, why pursue our endeavors? How do we carry out these tasks? Why must we endure the incessant barrage of manipulative communication each day? Can the world not go on without subjecting us to the spectacle of cola, shampoo, beauty cream, mobile phone, and surf commercials, both on our televisions and in stores?
Why are we persistently subjected to manipulation and brainwashing by these agencies and corporations? Why do they exert their influence over us incessantly, every hour, throughout the year? Why are our children thrust into the unfulfilling vortex of consumerism from earliset days? Must we endure the chaos of advertising every single day? Why do we find no respite from this stress? Why does it continue to escalate so relentlessly? Why have we become commodified?
Though we cannot halt it, we can choose to replace it, reset it, redefine it, and boycott it! We feel compelled to emphasize the significance of moral, cultural, and ethical values in the context of humanity. We stand in opposition to the pollution of media built on hoaxes, deceit, trickery, fraud, cheating, impostures, bluffs, pranks, spoofs, and scams.
We hold in high regard the essence of human existence, the human condition, and human aspirations.
In a world of artificial and deceptive representation, we champion truth and purpose. We seek to discover greater meaning in the world and in our own lives. We aspire to perceive the world with empathy and to stand side by side, guiding the human race towards a righteous path.
While we may not possess a definitive solution to this problem, we recognize that the first step is to bring attention to this misdirection and manipulation, to initiate a dialogue. Resolving this issue requires the collective effort and intellect of a broader community.
